GAME POINT DATA / FREE FIELD GUIDE

The disciplined execution guide.

Seven checks before acting on tennis betting research.

01 / Translate the odds

Decimal odds d imply a raw break-even probability of 1/d. 1.80 → 55.56%; 2.00 → 50%; 2.20 → 45.45%. American +120 and fractional 6/5 both equal decimal 2.20. These examples are not live quotes.

02 / Treat a forecast as uncertain

A model estimate is not a fact about the future. At an illustrative 60% probability and 1.80 odds, theoretical expected return before costs is 8%. If the probability is wrong, the apparent edge can disappear.

03 / Check the execution price

Confirm the selected player, opponent, event, surface, start time, forecast timestamp and available odds. A quoted price from yesterday is not proof of a price available now. If the approved price rule fails, pass.

04 / Separate outcomes from process

A winning bet can have been a poor decision; a well-reasoned bet can lose. Keep the original forecast and reference quote. Do not replace the original price after settlement.

05 / Read the whole research record

Separate retrospective backtests, prospective paper records and executed bets. Count overlapping match signals once. Review sample size, costs, voids and drawdown as well as win rate and ROI.

06 / Include the subscription in your budget

A £49 fee is a real cost. With hypothetical £1,000 turnover and 5% betting ROI, £50 betting profit leaves £1 after that fee, before other costs. A negative month adds the fee to the loss. Do not increase wagering to recover fees or losses.

07 / Use a stop rule for yourself

Choose a discretionary budget you can afford to lose. Do not borrow, chase losses or treat betting as income. Pause if it creates financial or emotional pressure. No selection and no bet are valid outcomes.
